Just when I thought...

there was no hope for much snow here at home this year VOILA! we got about nine inches last weekend...that actually didn't completely melt until today! It was beautiful. I guess the girls got enough snow play in ND, though, they didn't even ask to go outside. Just snuggled in, relaxed, and admired the snow from the windows. I was fine with that because I tweaked my neck looking at my alarm clock at 4:12am Friday morning and was in pain with every movement I made Saturday and Sunday. Ouch!

My mom makes and sells beautiful mittens out of wool sweaters and fleece and she gave the girls each a pair last month. We don't have alot of opportunities to wear them where we live but definitely enjoyed a few "mitten-worthy" days before the temps turned to the 70s!
