Visits from friends around the country

Dan, Jennifer, Mason and Griffin are taking a year-long RV trip to see the country and learn about US history. They stopped by for about a week and a half this summer and stayed at our house while we were in Florida (much to Abby, our lab's, great appreciation). We got to spend a few days with them when we returned from Destin. We have really missed them and it was wonderful to have them back!! Diane is one of those people I can go without seeing or even talking to for months and we are able to pick up right where we left off, as if no time had passed. She lives in Wisconsin and came to visit with two of her great kids this summer. Sophie is Katie's age and Noah is Ellie's age. I wondered how the kids would connect because they hadn't seen each other in a few years. Well, Sophie and Noah are both soccer players so you know they had lots in common! A great time was had by all. Thanks for coming our way, Diane!
